Kickback 05:16
I can’t even feel. Is this even real, or is this all a waking dream? You can stay and fight or you can run and hide but social fabric’s tearing at the seams. And I was searching for a sign. Looking for the right time. Looking for a sign, something in my mind. Yeah, I was searching for a sign, looking in the daytime. You can go to school then you get a job, you can even watch tv. Maybe buy a house then you buy a car; a world where living’s truly free. And I was blinded by the life, blinded by the “right life” looking for a light in the darkest night. And I was searching for a sign, waiting for the right time. Is this all we’ll know? It took a long time to get us here, where we thought we understood the fear, but we can see that we were wrong and the world don’t need another song. So if you want you gotta make it so, and if you got the feeling let it flow. Sit back and let the evening go; kickback.

The Ruse 03:04
There’s a goodness in man kind, there’s a goodness you rarely find. There’s a metric to measure your value, a place where everything’s true. Paint me into a corner. Forget it, I’ll do it myself. One touch to worldwide connection, one touch to your loneliest self. Vampire at the door and you let him right in ‘cause his haircut is cool and he keeps up on trends, and his short-hand is current and his content is fresh and he’ll keep your attention as your life turns to shit. And you’ll offer your blood like you’d offer a drink and he’ll drink it all up while your data is breached. And you’ll share your whole life so your story gets told, but those words turn to numbers and they’re packed up and sold. Man, there’s nothing like living to break the mold.
